saucepan help please

Hello - I'm getting a couple of lovely SKK non stick pans as a gift but I also need some normal veg cooking pans that don't need to be non stick. I don't mind if they cost a bit (but not as much as SKK!) but does anyone have any bright ideas of what is good/what lasts etc.
And anyone with SKK - I am getting the non non stick as I assume no point using them for veg cooking etc - am I right?

I love the Jamie Oliver for Tefal pans that I bought recently. They feel lovely and solid, the handles don't get hot, they look nice and they have a lovely comfy rubbery bit on the handle.

I love my KitchenAid non stick set. I have the cream ones, but they come in red too. have lasted 2.5 years of daily use and they still look great.
