Is there such a thing and if so does anyone have a recipe? I am visualising something fairly plain, with or without icing. TIA

3 very easy treats for kids:

  1. make little fairy cakes with very little sugar.
Instead of icing, dip them in warmed strawberry(apricot) jelly/jam and then coat with coconut

  2. mix half can sweetened condensed milk with coconut to make a firm past.
Roll into litlle balls and leave to dry on rack
You can use food coloring too.

  3. make marshamallow rice crispies treat with coconut.

or if it's not for kids, check out nigella lawson's MALIBU one.

it is so sweet it gives you an evil headache, but it's worth it.

for all the above, I'm using dessicated coconut
