Homemade choccie truffles: how long will they keep?

I'm thinking of making the chocolate truffles from the Cook Yourself Thin recipe book to give as Christmas prezzies, but was just wondering how long they would keep? I think they are just chocolate and liquor, no cream in them.

What do you reckon?

If there's no added cream they should keep for ages - alcohol's a preservative.

We used to make truffles adding cream and butter to chocolate and stuff and those kept fine for about 3 weeks - possibly longer but they always got eaten before then!
