I have to ask this everytime I do it but never remember!

I want to make boiled eggs and soldiers with firm whites and runny yolks.

Instructions please?

put eggs in warm water with a touch of vinegar. Bring to the boil and boil for just under 5 minutes.

I do it slightly differently. Put the eggs in cold water, with a splash of vinegar, bring to the boil and cook for 3mins 30 secs

I'm with lou. Perfect eggs every time - unless you get distracted!

Or buy an egg boiler from amazon - got one last year and it's brilliant!! No more watching pots and timing eggs!
