Anyone listen to the Food Programme on r4?

I do. And I confess here and now to a sneaky desire for one of the presenters just once, when given some artisan-made, organic or ethnic foodstuff, to respond with retching choking sounds and struggle to utter the words "God that's rank!!!" Just once.

Just me? OK, I'll get me coat...

No, you're not alone. I listen too but not every week. I listen to The Archers too - every night!

Thanks nimnom. But the confession wasn't just to listening to the programme - don't think that's too weird in itself

I do listen to the Archers too .... that probably is a bit weird now.

Not alone, I'd like that smug woman on the Food Programme to choke/retch once in a while.

I would listen, but cannot stand the mastication noises. They make me want to reach into the radio and grab the chewer by the throat. For the same reason, I can't listen to the recipe slots on Woman's Hour.

Maybe that's it policy.

I just want one of the delicacies which are presented with such pride and expectation, to be utterly foul and inedible .

Sorry, Ormirian, completely missed the point but I do agree - but it's the same on the tv. I suppose it's hard to be rude when someones made such an effort
