My ds is 2 on Wednesday and becuase of various family and friends he has ended up with three mini get togetheres so I wanted to do a half way healhty cake for one of them.

We are fans of Nigella Fruit Tea loaf but wondered if any one had suggestions for a suitable frosting for it to make it more party like

Thanks in advance

A fruit cake goes well with marzipan, but I suppose that's too christmassy!
A simple drizzle icing would work and I have done this before:

Icing sugar, vanilla essence/brandy/ orange juice/almond essence/very strong brewed tea(really good), water.
Mix the three together untill you get a drizzly but settable consistency and smooth or drizzle ove cake.

Sorry for the amount of times I used the 'D' word. Inevitable.

Orange juice sounds like a plan

Thanks
