Fish Fingers

Now my ds is almost a year old, my dm has suggested that it would be okay to give food like fish fingers to him maybe with beans.

Not a huge fan of food like this but is she right or am I being a bit precious?

She will be looking after him a couple of mornings next year and giving him lunch, so just wondered really.

Thanks

I give DD stuff like this occasionally before she was a year old.

ok every once in a while, imo

As my old mum likes to say constantly - everything is fine in moderation ! Fish fingers and beans certainly won't hurt every now and again! Meals like this can be pretty helpful sometimes when in a hurry/out of food/eating at someone elses house etc. You obviously make sure the rest of his diet is fine so don't worry.

Make sure it's checked first though - We've had some horrid bones in fish fingers recently

thanks all, loved then as a child myself, ds usually eats homecooked food, so will relax a bit and stop being precious
