What are those little minty ball things called - and how do you make them (and other questions about little things)

i want to make some little things to give as gifts. Usually do muffins/cookies etc so want to do something v cute.

Mate recommended little minty icing sugary ball things in tiny metallic cases (am i making any sense here?) but wasn't sure how to make them.

ooh what about truffles? Hard to make?

Any other ideas?

there's a shop near me called Au Naturel (or similar)

They do the most gorgeous hard-cardboard boxes with lids if that makes sense

When school broke up, I bought pastel pink covered in littel cupcakes and filled with choc muffins

I copied you on the muffins for school break-up .. in a little wicker basket though
