Tuna, pasta, peas, sweetcorn in a white sauce. Make ahead, put grated cheese & breadcrumbs on the top then stick in the oven for ??20 -30?? mins to heat through when you're ready.

Soup (either make your own ahead or buy something in) and put out a plate of bread, ham, cheese and bread and let people help themseleves.

Lasagne - make ahead and reheat.

Chicken thighs, skinned, dipped in melted butter and topped with a mixture of grated cheese and breadcrumbs. Prepare ahead. Then cook in the oven for 40 mins, cook oven chips or pre-prepared potato wedges and serve with salad/baked beans.
