Just realised I'm supposed to be doing this in the morning but have done nothing about it yet. Haven't even baked the cakes yet either.

those sets in the supermarket with squeezy icing have a balck one - do you know what I mena? will be in the icing bit. Or cake shop or sweet shop and get liquorice bootlaces!

I know the ones. Will have a frantic dash to Sainsbury's in the morning

Supercook Writing Icing, in all good supermarkets! Tiger face fairy cakes sound really cute.

DS1's class is doing a Tiger Who Came To Tea themed topic so the cakes are to fit in with that. the children will be decorating them though

So how did the cakes turn out? Were they at all tigerish?

MrsSeanSlater · 01/10/2007 20:53

They were great! Me and two other mums iced them orange and then the children decorated them with chocolate drops for eyes and ears and black icing for stripes and
whiskers. Then we arranged them on trays covered in green crepe paper made to look like a jungle. The children (five-year-olds) were so proud of them.

They sound beautiful! My DS loves The Tiger Who Came to Tea - I should give the tiger cakes a go.
