No - too sweet, I think.

But I like my champagne quite fresh, and sparkling on the tongue.

Are you going to be there? I shall bring a hamper, with blankets and an old wind-up gramophone. We shall sit on silk cushions and drink champagne cocktails.

what about kir royale? I love that. Had a taste of a pomegranate cocktail at MN met up last week, was v good but quite sweet.
