My 15 month old ds loves these but I was wondering if I should limit the amount he has. I'm worrying the natural sugars will ruin his teeth. Any advice?

I would be more worried about horrendous nappies!

The nappies are fine although yesterday dh bought his some Jumbo raisins. Needless to say the raisins came out looking the same as when they went in!

better than most other snacks, try alternating with apricots (ds calls them mummy sweets) and just brush his teeth every day

I'm very warm of too much dried fruit after ds1 developed a couple of cavities at 3 yo. Dentist reckoned it was dried fruit causing them as he just didn't eat sweets. I would try and encourage fresh fruit more as the sugar isn't so concentrated and doesn't stick to teeth in the same way.

I'm very warm? What am I on? I mean WARY, doh.

Thanks DaisyMoo. I've tried the dried apricots lissielou but he seems to have a problem chewing them. Just swills them around his mouth for ages then spits them out. While I'm on, does anyone else give dc the organix cereal bars. These are another favourite but again how often? They say they only contain 'natural' sugars. Would it be better to give one of these rather than a biscuit?. Is it just me or is being a mum quite stressful, never knowing what to do for the best
