Favorite sandwich fillings

I'm a massive sandwhich fan and i'll put pretty much anything between 2 slices of bread but I've just been thinking that maybe there are some great sandwhich fillings that have never occured to me and I would have to think I'm missing out on a great sandwhich so what are your favourite sandwhich fillings?

For me nothing beats a bacon and cheese sandwhich with brown sauce but that is definitely a treat. For more of an everyday sandwhich it has to be tuna and cucumber.

A potato waffle between thickly buttered bread!

My favourite sandwich is a fish finger sandwich, loads of butter and a little ketchup.

The butties left over at the end of a children’s party.

My favourite but rare now Is proper cucumber sandwiches.

You need thin sliced white bread and it's hard to find, medium sliced just doesn't do it.
Needs to be baked that day.

A cucumber that's preferably home grown for full flavour. Peeled and sliced very thinly.

Salted real butter and a grind of salt and pepper.

Crusts cut off in this instance.

Just perfection.

I have two that are absolutely amazing with a lot of flavour.

Chicken, crispy prosciutto, carrot cream cheese, curry dressing, red onion,
jalapenos, shredded iceberg and arugula on a chilli cheese bagel. Amazing!

Also thinly sliced chorizo, picante cream cheese, red onion, jalapenos and lettuce on ciabatta.
So good!

My favourite sandwiches fall into 3 main categories: cheese, pulses/nut butters, potatoes.
Under cheese we have:
Strong cheddar and tomato on white sourdough. Goat's cheese and spinach on a wrap. Pear and Stilton on wholemeal. Grated cheese and onion mayo on 50/50.
Under pulses/ nut butters we have:
Red lentil paté (home made, mildly spiced) with tomatoes or chutney, on sourdough. Hummus, olives, and spinach on a wrap. Peanut butter and tomato on a slightly sweet white roll. Tahini and honey on a white roll. Garlicky butter bean puree with lettuce and cucumber.
Under potatoes we have:
Chips, potato smilies or salt and vinegar crisps on cheap sliced white spread with utterly butterly type gunk. Potato salad on cheap unbuttered sliced white, spring onions optional. Mashed potato, cheese and onion toastie.
Honourable uncategorized extra: rollmop herrings and cucumber on buttered tiger rolls. It works best if you snip up the rollmops first with scissors so you're not tearing at it and pulling it out of the sandwich.

Quite a lot depending on my mood:

Crisps with salad cream on cheap white buttered bread.
Dried crispy onions on the same
Sliced banana on the same
Condensed milk on the same
Tuna with salad cream and crunchy veg on buttered malted bread
Banana and salad cream or jam and salad cream on cheap white buttered bread.
Salad cream also goes well with peanut butter on buttered white bread.
Potato rosti on buttered white bread.
Ketchup on buttered white bread.

Yum 😋

Plain Philly cheese and jam is pretty good too, on any buttered bread.
