How do you SHRED A MANGO??

I am making an Asian-style coleslaw, which requires me to shred a not-too-ripe mango.
Help please!

Some mangos are fibrous and some are smooth. If you have a smooth one then just chop it up.

Could you use a cheese grater?

an unripe mango is pretty firm and should be relatively easy to grate on the grater.

aahh... [realisation dawning emoticon] the cheese grater makes sense. I feel slightly foolish now
