Have just opened a can of soup and it exploded out - can i eat it?

It also has a dent does this mean the air has got in now.

I think that the general rule is that you shouldn't eat from a dented can.

But with everything the risk you take depends on the circs. If it was the only food I had for a week then I'd chance it. If I had 3 identical tins in the cupboard then I wouldn't.

No don't eat it. It exploded because it was fermenting where the air has gotten in to the tin and it could have all sorts of lovely bacteria in it!

i thought i remembered not to eat them from a food hygiene course.

I dont normally buy dented tins and will leave them at the end of the convayer belt if i have not noticed by them.

I wont eat it them and i will think of soemthing else to eat.
