I need some ideas!!!

Can anyone give me some ideas of what homemade food i can give my 5 and a half month old boy, he seems to be bored with plain old veg. is it a good idea to give him the jarred food? he has had homemade shepherds pie is that ok?

bubbsy id say whatever you eat purreed, as long as you dont add salt.

ds is 10 month and he has whatever we eat!

I agree.

I always cook a roast on Sunday and make up one extra plate which I then puree (you have to be careful with the salt and gravy).

In the week I usually make a spag bol and do one extra portion which I can puree.

You can probably get ten meals out of the above - so you can mix and match with other things in the week.

My easiest at that age was cauliflower and broccoli cheese:-
Boil 6oz of cauliflower, broccoli and potato in 1/2 pint of milk(or formula) for 12-15 mins and then add in 3oz of grated cheese, stir until melted and then puree.
