As long as the chips are cut from potatoes and fried. Not frozen oven chips (they're just not as nice) If you're going to have chips, then have proper ones

For me, it's got to be mash with sausages and beans - lots of 'dipping' opportunities then .

Do you just coat them in oil then Yg? How long do they take- never managed to cook homemade chips in the oven but dislike oven chips (but not enought o get a deep fat fryer)

Reminds me of children's meals on the few occasions we'd go out to eat when I was a kid. Yummy. We can't get nice sausages over here. It's one thing I miss. We can get imported, vastly overpriced, Heinz beans though, so we have beans on toast sometimes!

there's a Wilson's butchers at Crossgates - is that the same? BTW yorkiegirl, chips are chips they're still fattening... although agree sausage, chips and beans are yummy and the thought is making me hungry

MMmmmm Yorkiegirl , my favourite green day s/w meal is egg, chips and beans. Those sin free chips really are fabulous. But you do need a couple of sins for ketchup !

My ds's would agree - it's what they ask for every night without fail!!
