Halloween party food

Any one got any ideas for scary fun halloween finger food for a childrens party?

Im just going to do baked potatoes, cheese and beans plus jelly with some gummy sweets in it. I might cut the potatoes in half first and put raisins on them for eyes to make them look like ghosts. Also make some fairy cakes, ice them and then paint on food colouring to make webs or blood shot eyes. Sausages with almonds or pumpkins seeds stuck in the ends to look like fingers perhaps......dont forget the tomato ketchup. Make ice cubes put add food colour to the water before you poor it in.

I am also doing a halloween party and am pinching ideas from Annabel Karmel.

We are having hot potato witches, just jacket potatoes with chive hair and carrots, olives and peppers for mouth , nose and eyes. topped with card witches hats.

Making pumpkin oranges- scooped out oranges with a scary face cut in like pumpkin. Filled with jelly and fruit.

cakes decorated to look like spiders - small cake, plonk marsh mallow tea cake on top for spiders body and liquorice legs.

Dead man fingers -rolled up sandwiches a bit like a swiis role. mark on digits to lok like finger and almond finger nails.

sausages dipped in ketchup look like amputated fingers.

Lychees make great eyeballs!

thanks,why didnt i think of Annabel Carmel! She is a goddess with childrens food...thanks will definitely do oranges etc, also ice cubes with food colouring and jelly bug sweeties in them....cant wait,im more excited than the kids..hehehehex

I did Annabel Karmel food last year for my son's halloween party. i got the recipes from the party book. all of the food was a massive hit. the kids especially like the potato skins with the creamy dip and the little pizza's x
