Berries. All sorts of berries. They look so lovely in teh shops and I'll make jam and tarts and pastries. A week later teh little mouldy punnets get remembered and chucked out...

I would freeze it if I remembered it was there. Hell, I'd eat it if I remembered it was there!

Natural yoghurt, creme fraiche, kiwi fruit and bananas. We either have a glut of them(cos noone eats them) or they all get eaten that day I buy them.
I do check use-by dates on fruit now though and phone Tesco for a refund if it's too soon.

spinach

Shoshable · 12/09/2007 22:06

Stick on date yogurts in the freezer, kids love them as ice cream.

I bought a butternut summat or other last week because it looked like a PENIS , didn't know what to do with it though, other than leave it on the table and snigger at it.

elasticbandstand · 12/09/2007 22:15

soup, for the penis thingy.

i thorw away iceburg lettuce, regularly, mustard and cress, sometimes, plain yoghurt, bought with good intentions.

Rhubarb · 12/09/2007 22:16

soup? How do you make soup with the penis then?

nurseyemma · 12/09/2007 22:18

Agree with poster about nectarines and peaches, you never seem to hit that window of opportunity with them .....

Kathyis6incheshigh · 12/09/2007 22:22

You peel off the penis skin and scrape out the penis seeds, then cut in chunks and boil till penis is soft. Or don't bother peeling, just scrape seeds out and roast. Then blend it up with some stock or other delicious slightly salty liquid to make penis soup.

Rhubarb · 12/09/2007 22:23

dh is NOT impressed!

Kathyis6incheshigh · 12/09/2007 22:25

Am going to feed it to my pixie. He will love it.

Rhubarb · 12/09/2007 22:26

He bloody would an' all!

Rhubarb · 12/09/2007 22:26
