Freezing dried veg

I want to break out the slow cooker (maybe a little early but I have a hankering for stews and casseroles). I have a large quantity of dried veg in the larder (the sort which needs overnight soaking, then boiling).
Would it be OK if I soaked and boiled them, and then froze them in batches ready to add directly to the slow cooker over the next few weeks? What d'you reckon?
