Cutting out the bedtime bottle

Hello All

I'm new here and am sure that you'll be able to help me. I hope this is posted in the right section.

My ds, now 18 months old, still has a bottle at bedtime and one on waking. I know that it is time for this to stop or at least for him to take milk from a cup (he drinks water from cup at all other times) but how do I go about doing this or should I cut this out completely by now and if so, how?

Thanks

Firstly welcome! We're a nice bunch, honest!!!
My advice is only based on my experience etc etc..... My DS2 is 16 months and still has a bottle at bedtime. He eats well during the day, and I love snuggling him while he drinks it. there is less spillage from a bottle
Does your DS eat his breakfast? If he has milk first thing then it could affect his appetite so maybe cut that one.
