OK here goes. I have a joint of beef which weighs 957g. Instructions say cook for one hour per kg plus 30 minutes. Ermmmm, how long is that? And instructions also say that is for a 'medium cook'. What would you add on for a 'well-done cook'? TIA xx

I'd guess about 1.30 hours. (1 hour cos it is nearly a kilo and 30 mins)
Dunno how much you add for well done

Well 957 is almost 1kg, so just undder 1hr 30min I guess, minues 5 or 6 minutes maybe.

about 1 hour 30 mins for a medium cook - i'd add an other 20 for a better cook (then take a knife and do a test slice .
(1Kg =1000g)

Thanks guys! Even dds weight meant nothing to me until they translated it into pounds and ounces. Not that I had any intention of putting them in the oven
