The Good Housekeeping one is fab - all the recipes always work - and are delicious. Plus no strange or expensive ingredients in most of them.

It depends also what type of veggie food you like. I am on a budget so that determines the books I use - but I have so many of them!

Anything by Rose Elliott. I have lots, but actually use hers.

Dizzyhead · 30/08/2007 22:13

Yes, Rose Elliott one of my favourites too!

ally90 · 31/08/2007 06:37

Thanks! Will try both!

Yes The Good Housekeeping one and Rose Elliot both really good. I also love the World Food Cafe books and Madhur Jaffery's World Vegetarian.

Brilliant, thanks. So easy to get good to look at cookbooks with nothing in that you can cook...

Moosewood Cookbooks -- there are several different ones. I think the authors run a restaurant in upstate New York. It's a very popular series in the states. You can get them on Amazon:
