Never made smoothies before so the more recipes the better, as we are trying to lead a healthier lifestyle and dd2 is incredibly fussy.

Smoothies are fantastic because you can put in just about anything and everything that you like.
I always put in a banana because it makes it really thick. If you like it really cold or really thick freeze the banana overnight beforehand.
You can then add any combination of fruit that you like; berries, grapefruit, orange, apple, pineapple etc etc. It all works. Again, frozen fruits work well for a cold/thick smoothie.
Top it up with yogurt (fruit or plain), milk and fruit juice.
Then just zap in the blender until smooth.
I haven't added amounts of each because you'll work that out to your own taste through trial and error.
Some people add honey or sugar, but I never do because I think the fruit makes it sweet enough on its own.
Enjoy!!!

I have smoothie mixes sitting in my freezer. I just do whatever seems interesting. Pineapple/melon/banana; Strawberry/raspberry/blueberry/banana; peach/banana, etc. It really depends what's on sale at the time

I start of with about a cup of either juice (apple) or soda (eg diet lemonade, diet cream soda), and a cup of natural yoghurt, and then add the frozen fruit and a little honey. Vanilla is good to add too.

You can also add a cereal, such as oatmeal, but I haven't tried this.

Yes, I sometimes soak oatmeal in milk overnight and throw that in too.
It makes it thick and more filling.
I sometimes top them with cornflakes too. That adds a nice crunch to the smooth.
