probably too late now but you need the liquid to be about 3/4 up the chicken. I would put stock in

its ok I jusat used water, didnt need stock and it was blooming lovely!!!
Am going to do a curry tommorow!!

magsi it is superb it just fell of the bone[although a few bones went with it so had to be careful with the littlies] but I now have my curry on using braising steak as I wanted to try a cheaper meat cut.
