Usually spend between 75 and 100 a week.

We eat a lot of fruit and veg.

I shop about 2 times a week.

Can this be done? My 2 dc's are 8 and 9.

Thanks

Menu plan.

Then only buy what you need to make those meals.

As you said make cakes/biscuits
don't buy snacks.

Do you have a market near you to buy your fruit and veg as this will be a lot cheaper.

I have to say if you are throwing food away then don't buy it again.

Get into the habbit of only going shopping once a week, if you buy snacks and they get eaten within a couple of days then tough no more until next week. Your DH and DC will soon learn to spread out the treats.

Use pasta, rice and potatoes and veg to baulk out dinners.
