SuzyWong says that as you are the sole UK caretaker of her famous brownie recipe, she will only give out on mumsnet if it's OK with you.

I WANT this recipe, I haven't tasted the brownies, but from the description they are something that I would trample over my grandmother for.

I hope you're feeling much better today, I was thinking about you yesterday. (No really, I'm not just saying that )

I have just got all the ingredients together finally, and an appropriate cooking vessel for it, and am considering doing some today. I can't believe mine will be anywhere near as good as madame's, but omg hers are the best brownies i have ever tasted.

Maybe I could charge a fee for each netter who wants the recipe.

Well, brownies are made, and I have to say they are bloody delicious! I cannot deny the pleasure of these from the rest of the world, so Suzywong, get posting!

Kids have had one each and there is a huge plate left for me

Oh shut up! I've just come back from my WW weigh-in and I only lost 1 lb. I'm sure it's because I was thinking about brownies.

If I get the recipe (and I still think that SuzyWong was only teasing me ) I'm going to have one chocolate day a month (or maybe one every 6 weeks) and on that day I'm going to eat a whole batch of brownies myself.

lou33 · 29/09/2004 21:28

I am sitting here with a whole plate of them in front of me.

AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just eat them and stop winding me up. Your as bad as my boss, today he pulled out one of those giant dark Toblerones and said he wasn't keen on chocolate so everyone should help themselves . Eventually I had to ask him to put it back in his drawer as it was in my line of sight.

Bran, do you want my recipe for WW chocolate brownies? they are surprisingly delicious (honest they are!!) and only two points each. Only I ate four yesterday..oops

bran · 29/09/2004 22:54

Is that the one with vineger in it marthamoo? [suspicious emoticon] I've heard about it, and I'm not sure, but it's in my friend's WW recipe book so I'll get a photocopy of it and save you typing it out. Thanks though.

Although you wouldn't think it by my current behaviour, I have actually given up chocolate (for 8 weeks now) so it's really only worth breaking that for the very best, which is what SuzyWong's recipe is (apparently, if I had the opportunity to try it I'd know for sure - that's a hint Suzy).

Vinegar? Yack, no. That sounds foul. They have smooth apple sauce in them which makes them that lovely squidgy consistency of brownies but less calorific. They really are nice. Shout if you want it for future reference.
