getting food stains out of clothes

Was wondering how you manage to get stains out of your babies clothes after mealtimes. Ds gets in such a mess, I have found the only way is to use nappisan in with the powder in the main drawer plus ace bleach poured directly onto the stain and also added ina dosing bowl in the drum but I use so much. I expected babies to be expensive but its only been since weaning that hes really cost me so much.

I use so much ace bleach and nappisan it costs a fortune and just lately even these havent always got the stains out.

Hi, I recommend Oxiclean ( I think that's the name) it's the best I've tried, if you soak the clothes and then rub together the stains dissapear before your eyes...I also use bibs with arms in as they are cheaper to throw away!!

Ask Coddy, she is the expert!

Thanks, what do you soak them with? Do you use oxiclean for soaking as well as rubbing on the stains or do you soak in normal washing powder and water

I use vanish pre wash spray, doesn't work on banana though!!

A squirt of washing up liquid (use a good one though not a cheepy, Fairy) - it gets a multitude of stains out of things - then bung in the wash as normal.

Stain devils all purpose. Soak stain, leave 15 mins, wash as normal. Or put bio directly onto stain. Sometimes I wash with bio, and then rewash with non bio and this generally gets most things out.
