Hi, my son is almost 21 months old and has 6oz of milk morning and night and 4/5oz with cereal. Just wanted advice on the correct amount of milk to be giving at this age and how long to continue the required amount?

Thanks in advance

Total of about a pint a day to get the amount of calcium he needs. But that can come from milk, cheese, yogurts, etc. Also foods like broccoli and a couple of others I can't remember are good sources of calcium.

300/350mls is the minimum from 1 year (around 12oz) which includes milk with cereal, in foods, dairy products, etc (The Food Standards Agency actually quotes 300mls as the minimum to get the required calcium for 1-3 year olds)
