Have 10 friends over on Saturday and have settled on slow cooked lamb shawarma. Not made it before but reviews online look promising! Going to serve everything buffet style and let people help themselves.
Does anyone have some good side dishes, preferably make ahead ones with a Middle Eastern vibe?
I'll do a minty garlicky yoghurt, some couscous with lemon, coriander and pomegranate. I thought maybe some flatbreads and sliced tomatoes, onion etc so people can build a wrap if they like. I have two GF guests coming so will be doing some roasted potatoes too!
Wondered about a couple of salads/veggie sides and dips?
When people arrive I'm going to do some halloumi fries with some sort of dipping sauce. At least 5 of the people coming have big appetites and they always seem to hoover up everything so happy to make a fair few things!
Thank you in advance for any suggestions
