cucumber, red pepper, carrot sticks
mini pitta bread

how about scones spread with jam and cream for the adults? we did this once and went down a treat with a cup of tea or wine

Crostini - get a skinny baguette, slice into thin slices, dab with a mix of olive oil and garlic then bake in the oven for about 10 minutes until crisp.
Top with diced sun-dried toms and mozarella or grated cheese and crispy bacon then bake for another five minutes until cheese is melted.
Easier than it sounds

I've done scones too for adults - they do work well!

grapes, cherry toms

breadsticks as well as crisps and crudites, and dips such as hoummus, guacamole.

quiches

french stick and selection of cheeses for adults?

Mercy · 20/08/2007 17:42

houmous/carrot sticks/pitta bread (or Turkish bread if you can get it)

cold roast chicken drumsticks

corn on the cob

tortilla

baguettes, brie, tomatoes, some sort of green salad, potato salad

iliketosleep · 20/08/2007 17:46

that reminds me i must do tea lol

all this food has made me hungry!! and it all sounds great especially the scones! never thought of that!!!!!

the one thing we cant do is the cheeses as me and my auntie are both pg and there are certain cheeses we wont be able to have and it wont be fair and we will prob end up sulking in the corner all night
