Breakfast ideas - also some quick, on the move ones wanted

Hi all, morning

DD (2.5yo) adores her breakfast and, given time, will eat loads.

For example today she has just had a Weetabix, a slice of eggy bread and now on a fromage frais, with some apple juice. She often has 2 or 3 courses, and more if able. But this all takes time.

Now on nursery mornings she never wants to get up and she just doesn't have the time for such a large breakfast. She has toast/morning snack arounf 9:30 at nursery, but she needs something more before.

DH takes her to nursery in buggy and I did wonder whether anyone can suggest something for her to eat on the way there - in her hands, - but not toast.

Any ideas?

fruit? Banana or an apple?

Hulababy · 27/09/2004 09:08

Ah - yes fruit!

Although has to be non-messy if possible. DD's favourite fruit is things like melon but it is so juicy she gets it all over here!

My dd loves the quackers oats cereal bars.
They have choc chips in . I'm not sure about their nutritional value but they sure is handy grin

Me - baking!!! Ha ha ha. Love cooking, but nightmare at baking, sorry!

I did wonder at the cereal bars - it's only 2 days a week after all. Wonder if they are okay for a 2yo?
