I have no idea what to make for dinner tonight and dp will be home in just over an hour.

quite fancy steak and chips but would men going out to the butchers and dd1 is at her friends over the back, dd2 is about to fall asleep plus its raining.

looks like i may resort to the freezer.

'Barbeque' pork chops, new potatoes and salad. Not sure what the chops will be like as I've just chucked half my store cupboard in to the marinade. I'm crap at these things.

Butterflied chicken fillets with a garlic, coriander, paprika rub (trying new recipe picked up in Waitrose yesterday) with home-made salsa, salad, nice bread. Strawberries to follow.

Got off my but - stopped making excuses and went to the shops. Now having Sausage Casserole with mashed potato, sugar snap peas and baby corn(peas and corn are yesterdays leftovers).

Looking forward to it now. mmmm delicious!
