i used to put them in a pan with a touch of balsamic vinegar, some honey and a spoon full of water, then just reduce them till you get a sauce type consistency, and serve on top of steak. its very good!!

dissle · 13/08/2007 19:28

so you cant use them as a sweet then, in a crumble say?

i wouldnt, mainly because they have a really pungent tangy flavour, and an all redcurrant crumble would be too much. you could add them to other fruit, like plum or apple for a crumble, i bet that would be nice.
