I think she's bored...

My dd is 5 and a half months old and I have been mixed feeding for about 6 weeks. The poor mite must get really fed up of carrot, butternut squash, potato and such. She is being fed Hipp organic food from jars at nursery until she is 6 months old.
She started eating absolutely brilliantly, leaving me in no doubt it was time to wean her. In the last two weeks though since I have returned to work she doesn't eat her dinner so well with me anymore and it makes me sad
I don't want to feed her jars and packets.
Does anyone have any suggestions that might help? I don't know, recipes or methods?

I used some of the Annabel Karmel (Baby and toddler Meal planner) recipes with ds. He loved all the ones I tried with him. I had to double up the quantities though, because I thought her portion sizes were a bit small. I cooked them about once a week in bulk and froze them in little tubs. In another couple of weeks you can introduce some pureed meat and other proteins, so that'll be a bit more exciting.

Some AK recipes are here She seems to add pureed fruit to a lot of her veggie recipes to make them a bit more exciting.

Thank you very much muddaofsurburbia. I have been reading all the threads about trolls. Somepeople suggested ignoring them.
I thought everyone thought I was one

Happy shopping!

I think AK has some more recipe books out now. The one I have is square shaped, hardback with a white cover. Some recipes are a bit of a faff ingredient-wise, but they're still good. Ds loved "Lovely Lentils" at about 6mths.
