googling would suggest that few people with nut allergies are allergic to pinenuts -- they're not of the same genus (is that the right word) as peanuts etc.
there's a kid at my dd's nursery school who is allergic to nuts so we've been told to avoid nuts in packed lunches. have just held back from putting pinenuts into her couscous but suspect i needn't have bothered. i should prob ring nursery but what's your opinion on this?
