i have two dd, one 13 1/2 and one 14 mths the latter wont eat (she is LI and on special milk - but i need to get her on whole milk fully to be retested mad eh)

i need help she hardly drinks should be having 18oz a day, and drinks less, hardly eats, today for eg 6oz milk on waking , refused breakfast, then at 1/4 round toast (made with whole milk), ate 1/2 waffle for lunch drank 1oz later on had snacks of 5 bluberrys, tried teatime swee pot and c.stew refused (ended in tears her screaming)like this more often than not now. drank 6oz tonite before bed but dad took over as she refused anymore after 3oz.

last weighed 3 wks ago weighing 19 12 at 14 mths, only just outgrown 6-9 mths now in 9-12 mths tends to be 3 mths behind on clothes friends 7 mth old son mistook for her twin today and he weighs more.

doctors said okay last time i took her but she is on the go all time now and if she is not sustaining her fuel intake (food drink) im worried shell end up collasping soon.

tried fingers food not intersted, after cple spoonfuls she refuses and wont eat anyherself, she will feed her self puddings yogs etc, but nothing else.

its making me ill, even though i dont show in front of her but i cant act jolly if i feeling so down inside.

there is nothing hand on heart 24/7 she would eat all day, HV waste of time.

away on hols next week to france dreading it totally, running out of ideas.

Thanx guys
It's reassuring to know other parents are having same obstacles, once put into perspective things aren't probably as bad as I first thought now i've chatted to you. I'll try to chill out a bit more around meal times and see. But like you said it's been a long time since we cut our teeth and no if i had tooth ache I'd prob be the same myself! Good luck with your situations too!!

Hi everyone had a pretty succesfulish two weeks in France, little dd didnt eat to bad we actually stopped her afternoon bottle as she was only drinking 1 oz if lucky so just gave her bottle first thing, brekky, dinner, tea and bottle last thing at night and gave her water or very diluted pure juice and water through day, made her food mainly just used foreign jars cple of times, first few days crap as usual next ten days brill but last cple crap as if she knew she was coming home, but since Sat eating not to bad so either she is on a very large growth spurt or im heading for a fall, does anyone know how much milk as she is still on LF formula per day at 15 mths, she is drinking between 2 bottles 14 oz per day and having petit filous yogs one a day and trying cheese for calcium her nappies arent to bad but im dreading trying her on full milk so i was thinking a 1/2 and 1/2 each morning a night gradually making it all whole milk, as paediatric doctor has said i have to get her on whole milk and she reaction to see if she is still fully LI or has maybe outgrown it. TMD my dd has only 4 teeth and 2 more coming thru soon and she is swings and roundabouts with hard and soft stuff too
