Would this be ok? DS loves pesto pasta (sometimes won;'t eat anything else) but I'm trying to get some 'good' food into it too.

I sometimes do pasta pesto tune and cherry toomatos.

massivebigpantsface · 07/08/2007 16:55

of course!

think it sounds a bit yuk to be honest. I would chop up some fresh tomotoes + mozarella very small and add this with the pesto to the pasta instead

Ok, will give it a go - although chances are he'll turn his nose up at it! Wish me luck!

I do it with tuna, and sweetcorn. We all like it (well, DCs and me, DH not as keen)

ledodgy · 07/08/2007 17:22

I'd do it with red pesto but not with green.

Update - he had one mouthful and refused to eat anymore! So tuna and pesto is out for us then!

Hmm I'd have added bacon to green pesto - bacon, some cream, some pinenuts and possibly some chopped olives. But then I would have probbaly eaten it myself instead!

Holymoly321 · 07/08/2007 17:30

Yeah, I usually add chopped ham or chicken, courgette, mushrooms. Just wanted to try something a bit diff! Oh well never mind.
