Help ! 12 month old refusing to eat anything apart from finger food .......

My DD is just over 12 months and until recently has eaten just about anything (except peas!!). This last week or so, she is refusing to eat vey much in the way of puree/lumps stuff and instead is insisting on finger feeding herself. Troupble is, I'm running out of ideas of how to get veg into her. She's fine with toast and cheese, breadsticks, steamed carrot, pasta etc, but how can I get more fruit and veg into her ??
Any easy recipe ideas that she can feed herself ??
What can I pack when we go on a day out ?? (she doesn't need anything warming, very used to cold/room temp food and milk)

Thanks x

spread the puree on the toast

be happy! feeding baby with a spoon is dull

my 10 month old has fruit with lunch e.g. grapes cut into quarters, strawberries cut into chunks, banana broken into strips/chunks, blueberries, ripe pear cut into chunks. With dinner he tends to have veg e.g. bits of broccoli, cauliflower, sweetcorn, frozen mixed veg (cooked of course!!), etc. Mixed veg can also be mixed with mashed potato and finger fed. I am using up leftover veg purees by adding them to pasta or boiled rice - make them thick enough so they can also be used as finger food. Anything can be turned into finger food if you make them thick enough!!

oh, and if we go out I take a sandwich, a banana and a yoghurt/fromage frais - none need warming and ds will take yoghurt from a spoon

At 12 months they can manage most cooked veg IME. And mine didn't start getting teeth until that age.

hummus
sweetcorn
raisins
mini sandwichs
hard boiled egg sliced
mini pancakes
my ds is three and prefers finger foods

DD loved salad stuff at this age - especially cucumber - chunks are easier than slices - red/green pepper, halved cherry tomatoes.
