Here I am in full Cod mode - on the sell

I buy wine from these people lovely Sunday Times Wine Club and I order cases v reasonable VERY yummy and it all comes to my door rather than clinking it home from the supermarket

if you want to buy wine too and I recommend you (ie send them your name and address) they send you a letter with a lovely offer to tempt you in which is v cheap - you can take it or leave it

There are the following advantages:

  1. It is nice wine
  2. YOU NEVER HAVE TO BUY ANYTHING ELSE AGAIN UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY WANT TO
  3. it is nice wine
  4. they send me 4 bottles of Rioja if you buy the offer
  5. Every so long they offer you more nice wine
  6. It is very nice wine

everyone wins

come on you have nothing to lose

all questions answered

good sell!
we have joined, opted out and rejoined several times to take advantage of their introductory offers
also done the same with their 'Four Seasons' spinoff list (buy a case get a case FREE)

Even works out cheaper than booze-cruising to France (though not as cheap as buying it when you're in France anyway)

Cappuccino · 01/08/2007 11:31

oh yes

come on people

if it is good enough for Mrs Badger...

rofl at 'CSI wine'
if telly of your choice was American medical drama I guess that would make it House wine...
(ba-boom)

CountessDracula · 01/08/2007 11:40

pmsl
so
you are suggesting that we buy wine from somewhere you recommend as having good wine when your opinion on wine is that it is just wine and you don't need to know what

Quattrocento · 01/08/2007 11:41

Cappa - I would and have done in the past BUT the last time the very short doctor around the corner had also joined - the ST lost his case of summer sparklers - so he came hammering on my door insisting I had received his case - which I hadn't - but the experience kinda put me off.

Wine not that great in the mixed cases and overpriced for what it is but you can sniff out some bargains.

Cappuccino · 01/08/2007 11:41

yes

okay will alter my sell

"If you regularly buy the 3 for 2 offer at Threshers then this is the thread for you'

nights and nights in fact

bump for the evening people

enjoying their wine

you can enjoy lots more of it with my lovely offer

ignore the countess she is, as you know, a Countess and thus much posher than the rest of us
