Cooking times - help, can't work out lbs and kg!

Right I have a chicken to cook which weighs 2KG.
The instructions say that for every lb it should be cooked for 20-25 minutes.
I have no idea how many lbs and in a KG, can someone please tell me how long to cook this bird for please please, I am crap at these things!

4.4 lbs in 2kg. So cooking time is around 90 mins

Phew, thanks, you've saved us from certain food poisoning or dried out chicken.

It is a good idea to leave it for 20 minutes after you take it out of the oven to rest. Basically cook it for 90 mins then take it out cover it in tinfoil and a couple of tea towels to keep it warm and then the flesh relaxes and it is easier to carve and suprisingly more succulent.
