the atkins diet.....

hey, was just wondering what peoples opinions are on the atkins diet as i am thinking about giving it a go from next week (after food shopping). heard different things about it though and wanted to know of anyone who has been on it ect... (got about 4 stone to loose so quite a bit!)

Works but is impossible to stick to for the long term. (Which I guess is kind of true for all diets). I'd maybe recommmend it for a pre-holiday quick fix, a couple of weeks or so, but no way longer than that. There are all sorts of health risks associated with the excessive protein and saturated fat.
