My guess is yes....

greensleeves · 25/07/2007 15:05

Yes, but it's more than worth it

wildwoman · 25/07/2007 15:05

I don't think it's too fattening as such but does contain quite a bit of salt so that won't help.

poptot · 25/07/2007 15:06

why would it be fattening?

clumsymum · 25/07/2007 15:08

nutritional info on [http://www.gourmetfoodstore.com/smokedsalmon/nutrition-smoked-salmon.asp]

But I reckon you are wealthier than I if you can eat enough of it to make a significant difference.

greensleeves · 25/07/2007 15:08

you've made me crave the damn stuff now!

wildwoman · 25/07/2007 15:11

mmmm on blinis with creme fraiche and cucumber soaked in white wine vinegar and dill.....

greensleeves · 25/07/2007 15:12

I ate nearly a pound of it on our anniversary a couple of weeks ago

wildwoman · 25/07/2007 15:13

bloater

greensleeves · 25/07/2007 15:16

wildwoman · 25/07/2007 15:17

Oh dear [shaking head slowly emoticon]

TheGoddessBlossom · 25/07/2007 15:18

I don't kow why I thought it was, just had a sneaky suspicion, not that it stops me eating it. Would always go for a smoked salmon canape for example thinking it was healthier and delicious option IYKWIM. Just had a cream cheese and smoked salmon bagel, (YUMBLE), it's not expensive if you shop at Lidl and is bloody yum.

it doesn't matter....it's got lots of omega 3 in it, that more than compensates!

DP brought home a crappy Lidl pizza for lunch today...wish he had better taste! How much is salmon in Lidl?
