I got some out of the freezer yesterday with the intent of making a thai curry last night. This didn't happen and I wondered if I could use it tonight instead...does anyone know if it will be safe ?

I would say use it within 24 (maybe 48) hrs of when it was fully defrosted - as long as it has been in fridge

Today is fine, we quite often take things out with the intent of using them that night and then use them the next.

As long at is smells fine, it will be fine.

DH is a chef and very cautious when it comes to food.

It should be fine, I often get a chicken out friday evening for Sunday lunch, although smaller pieces should probably be eaten the next day.

Thanks all - will use it - it looks and smells fine. I hate to waste food...
