Biscuits without scales?

haven't got scales, weather is crap, and I might make some biscuit dough for ds1 to cut up.

Anyone got a recipe?

Quick Emergency biscuits:
1oz (2 level tablespoons) sugar
2oz (4 level tablespoons) butter
3oz (9 level tablespoons) flour

cream marg & sugar, stir in flour, knead, roll out, cut out, 10min gas 4.

(tart up by adding orange zest, chocolate chips, raisins, whatever. Or ice afterwards with 2oz (6 level tablespoons) sifted icing sugar mixed with 2 teaspoons hot water)

1 0z flour = 1 rounded tablespoon I thought

Butter you can judge by looking at the block and dividing into 8. 1/8 is one ounce
