Baking Powder

Does anyone know how much baking powder to plain flour in order to get self raising flour?

I want to make fairy cakes with ds later

I guessed with the scones, was very generous but they are very light!

it shou ld say ont he side of hte thing doesn't it
I thinkits one tsp fro 8 oz

It probably did say on the side but the label was attached to the plastic seal so it all came off ages ago.
