if they have jam in, the middle bit might be a bit slimy when you defrost them

jellyjelly · 21/07/2007 21:44

The do have jam, am just cooking dinner and i dont think my waist will love them much.

Can they be recooked tomorrow like bread can to get the freshness back in them?

Life is too short - just enjoy them today

Fireflyfairy2 · 21/07/2007 22:04

Ooh you're having a late dinner!

What you having?

I had veg chow mein & it was delicious!

Save the doughnuts for after dinner with a huge cup of coffee! Or as dh is doing... he's eating a gingerbread man with Southern Comfort!

They will go soggy if you freeze them. However, you could defrost them, warm them in the oven and serve with custard. We use to be served this at school. It's actually not bad.

Sainsburys ones do say they have previously been frozen, so may apply to most supermarket ones
