18 months, that's pretty good going, it took me about 30 years before my tasstebuds were mature enough.

My ds1 likes them - mind you he'll eat abnything salted.

Ds liked them at 10months. Do limit him though, due to salt content. A friend's ds also liked them at the same age.

I thought about the salt content too - when we take her to restaurants we have them to start with and she eats them all and wants more!

If there are olives out on the table, DH and I make sure that we eat some so ds can only have a few - he then tends to progress onto breadsticks before the pizza arrives, when he tries to pinch more olives off ours, then enjoys trying out various bits of the mixed salad - again any olives are monitored!

My 15-month old girl loves them as well, don't think it's very harmfull, it's just another type of veg isn't it?
