Question for Foody Geordies!! Treacle Moon

Anyone been? Supposed to be owned by same people as Fisherman's Lodge (which I can't afford) and has had a few good write ups. Haven't lived in Newcastle for years and when I did, the Italian Job on Dean Street was the height of class and sophistication so am a bit out of touch with the restaurant scene!!

Haven't been but it has been on my list for a long time as it's supposed to be lovely. It is owned by Fisherman's Lodge and Seaham Hotel people. The only thing that vaguely puts me off is being placed in the window seat which means the 'cabaret' of lairy hen and stag parties is a bit too close! So make sure you ask for a table at the back of the (tiny) restaurant. I've lived in Ncle for 10 years now and the change in the restaurant scene has been huge and for the better - yum! Enjoy!
