So I had one of those 'Ooh, look, it's reduced, lets get come' moments and now have chicory in my fridge.

Toddler friendly meal ideas please!

good luck with that.

Chicory is quite bitter...
An acquired taste....

Hey, at least it only cost me half what it should have.... twas a bargain!

I just know I am going to look at it for days and then bin it!

Pregnant women should not be allowed to shop when bored.

You could eat it! Braise it in white wine (all the alcohol will boil away) and butter and eat it as a side veg.
Or have it raw in a salad.
It must be good for you because it tastes like it should be good for you.
I quite like it actually.

DD's quite good with strong tastes so she might be okay with it. I know my mum used to do it as a side dish but can't for the life of me remember how!
Shall give that a try, there's quite a bit of it
